3rd Generation 4Runner Fuel Filter
Hi:
Just want to know how many miles do you drive your 3rd generation 4Runner before you change the fuel filter and how difficult it is to change the one on a 4cylinder engine.

I changed mine around 85k miles.
I dont know if it was ever done before.
I also dont know how it is on the 4Cyl, but Im guessing the same as the 6.
Its easy. Wrench on the nuts on each side of the filter, unscew, remove, reinstall the new one.
Just dont forget a drip pan.

Change it when you start having problems. 
I don't think toyota even has a recommended duration for changing them.
