I'm getting back into the Toyota off road scene again and am going to do this swap. I would like to know of any problems i may encounter with this engine or the transplant! I talked to a teacher and he said its a Chevy v8 with 2 cylinders cut off and the Chevy v8's are awesome engines. I'm looking for a harness diagram so i can build a nice harness. Also i'm looking at a 91 yota that already has the 4.3 in it but the guy says it overheats after long trips, i thought it could be the 22re radiator is still in there causing a problem but i'm not sure, any input would be appreciated!

Oh really? the exact questions? where are they located? do people like yourself just tell others what they are doing wrong on forums and never have any useful input?

 

Your lazy, search here and search Google. It has been covered many times. You know how annoying it is answering questions that already have been answered? I'm going to be nice and tell you to SEARCH Pirate4x4 but DO NOT POST there. Pirate has everything you need to know about the 4.3 swap. I'm doing a 4.3 swap and I got my info from here and Pirate4x4.
