I'm about thru with the swap on my 82 pickup but ran into an issue. I swapped my tired r22 from my 82 with a rebuilt 82 from a 4X4. I'm down to the last few items but I'm stumped on hooking up the water hoses.

The new engine has a metal tube on each side of the block that the old engine did not have. They look like they are setup for a hose connection.

I know how to connect the hoses from the water pump back to the radiator as they were on the original block but what do I do with the tubing on the block?
