85 4cly to a v6 4tec

Yes I have an 85 Toyota pickup 4cly and it is just a mud bogin truck and I been looking at doin an engine swap to a v6 4tec motor I know I gotta go to advanceadaptors.com to get the adapter. But I was seeing who all has done it and if it is a good swap. And also what all would I really have to do to the swap besides the adapter. Thanks for ya'lls help

I wonder if he meant vortec as in 4.3L chevy? Because I am pretty sure he didn't mean a Traxxas 4-tec or a sea-doo/rotax 4-tec engine. lol.

Idk. A sea-doo swap would be one of a kind.

I love my old 700cc Yamaha's but I've often fantasized about have a couple of the big 4cly PWC's.

70+ mph on the water must be a rush.

motor/trans

I have an 1985 extra cab that has a stock 4cly 22r with a w56 transfer I was thinking about putting in a 4.0 v6 motor and was seeing if the w56 transfer will bolt up. And/or what would all I have to do to get it to work

google search of "toyota engine adapters" produced several sites including these guys:

http://www.advanceadapters.com/

also try http://www.northwestoffroad.com/index.php

p.s. W56 is the trans code, not the transfer case.
