i hsve the whole doner truck i also want to swap axels whats all needed to do that help pls

if you are going carb it should be a pretty easy swap. The motor mounts in mine were crap so i welded up some out of old 4 link bars they work great. but i am sure some square steel will work just fine

 

Sorry but i think small block swaps are sweet but really look into the 700r4... not a trans for street driving.. Not a very good trans for wheeling they are not that tuff.. i would look into a turbo 350 alot better unit for wheelin.. Most of the time the 700r4 it backed upto a np208 transfer case witch is a baby and not good for wheelin... sorry if i gave you and bad news... i am just letting you know what i know from using those parts...

 

I have seen people doing the 4L60,65,70's. Maybe that's an option for you.

 

Im running a th400 HD in my 92 runner DANA60 in rear DANA44 in front NP208 with custom chevyota crossmember

 

My Landcruiser has a 327 with Muncie (car) 4 spd, AA adapter to Toyota T-case, but I've secured an SM420 4 speed, just need an adapter.

 

I used a NV 4500 in my swap. Toughest transmission you can find but it is a manual box.
