Hey Everybody! I've owned my 1987 Toyota Turbo Pickup for roughly 11 years now, the majority of time it's been living inside a barn with a torn apart/partly rebuilt 22RTE, I have been planning on rebuilding the entire truck for quite some time now and have been slowing buying parts/changing my mind on what I want to do with it. I've finally decided on a Total Chaos Long travel kit and a 2JZ-GTE, I'm currently deployed right now and will be starting the build when I return to Canada, I have a couple of questions before I get back to start everything.

The engine is a JDM 2jzgte VVTI out of an aristo, with a front sump, will I need to change the sump location to fit into the 4x4? I'm using a CX racing 2JZ engine mount kit.

I'm trying to keep my R151F transmission and just do a bellhousing swap from an R154, but I'm unsure if the input shaft will be long enough, is it possible to swap in a Tacoma R150 input shaft into the R151? The Taco has an extra inch or so on the R151's shaft.

I'm going to keep the engine relatively stock as 280-300hp is more than enough for these little trucks

I'll also be selling the 22RTE with harness and computer minus the turbo and turbo manifold because they were both toast and thrown out. I'm just getting the last bits of things together now before I start the swap and build. I've attached a picture of my truck.

 

hello can any one tell me how i cold get a mount kit for my 86 4 runner to swap to a 2jz i just need the motor mounts and tranny mount if someone could help please email me steveweiss1976@gmail.com
