Hello,

I'm considering doing an engine swap on an '85 Caprice. I'm searching for an engine that will offer both performance and easy maintenance. I'm trying not to be too picky with the engine. Do you all have any suggestions on engines that will fit the Caprice? Also, (since I'm a noob, I have to ask this question,) do you all recommend changing the fuel pump, power steering pump, transmission, etc, to fit the new engine?

Go to impalassforum.com Theres loads of good info there. Most guys will usually do either an LT1 or LS swap.
