It is time for change...

Went to go play at the beach. Ended up getting stuck pretty bad because my damn front tires wouldn't engage. WTF. Soon as i get out, strait to our shop. I see my cv boots ripped and mangled gears poppin out. Here's what I find on the ground...

Soo, talk to pops about it. I got the OK to SAS!

So gunna look around for an 85 axel. I will only need the very basics for this, I will need a lot of guidance on this. Please help!

First I'd like to make my hangers for the front and year.

I have no idea what measurements I'll need, help is appreciated.

I'm a navy and ABS certified welder and have 24/7 access to the largest machine shop in the state, I want to make most of what I can.

You can certainly make everything you need, and find good spring packs at junk yards.

Just about all you can ever want to know is over on Pirate, in the Toyota FAQ. Don't post, just read. Posting will net you zero answers and lots of flaming. The FAQ is sticked on top of the Toyota Truck and 4Runner section.

You will find dimensions, axle widths, axle pros and cons, springs, spring pros and cons, shocks, etc....

Thanks!

I think I learned my lesson in posting. I ask a question because I am unsure of something, and an inbred red neck will call you the retard...lol

Just to warn you, they will call you a LOT worse over there. Don't post, trust me.
