I have rear 4.30 locked rear and a solid axle i havent put on yet still in need off a diff i have a 4.10 in the axle now.now if i bought a 4.30 rear say elocked could that be swappable with cutting the housing or if i got another open diffed 4.30 from a rear would it work in the front ?or do i have to swap the ring on the pumpkin on the axle?

 

Should fit with notching housing for e-locker. The mini trucks used the same diff for front and rear axles on SFA truck/4rnr. In the front the gears drive on coast side of gears. The high pinion is out of a cruiser they are reverse cut and drive on drive side. Hi pinion will reduce front drive line angles and is strong since reverse cut gears, one day I plan on a high pinion for this reason.
