Solid axle swap issues

So about a year ago i threw a solid axle in the 91 yota. still cant seem to get it to handle worth a damn. I put the trail gear 5 in kit in with the hd springs out front. it aligns well and goes straight down the road but i slam the front end when i hit any sort of bump. In the rear i went with chevy 1500 63" springs and spacers welded between the frame and the shackles as well as a long shackle to match the height that the front gave me. Im thinking that i went too tall. i expected 6 or so inches over stock height and i ended up at roughly 11. now i have just completed the chevy 4.3 vortec swap and im finding that with the new power its handling even worse. not really sure where to go from here. i have a hard time taking it down trails faster then 2-3 miles an hour without feeling like im breaking stuff. any advice would be appreciated

Your front slamming down on bumps is due to "nosedive" which is common on springs with rear shackles. Want to fix it? Swap the shackles to the front.

Looks like the Slamming could be coming from the Front spring shackle hitting the Body mount on the frame. The angle is very steep. After going back through and looking at your pictures, it looks as though, in the first picture, that the front spring hanger is back pretty far. I typically have them moved up further on the core support. I think that f you move it a little further forward, it will help prevent the shackle from hitting the mount.

Yeah the front end slam is coming from your front shackle mount. It apears to be resting against the body mount, a set of boomerang shakles should clear that side of the issue. You could try grinding part of the body mount flush to the frame.... Only take off enough to get desired clearance. This wouldnt be the preferred method though. Sky's off road makes good boomerang shackles for the front. The other issue I see up front is your shocks appear to be too long. Only giving you 2 inches or so of compression before the bottom out on the tube, their probably blown out as it is from that and aren't doing their job. Rear shackles are pretty long too, if your axle isnt shimmed right your driveline angle is too steep. This will cause a noticeable "lurch" apon take off. Thats my 2 cents, hope it helps.

Front Spring hanger should have been mounted at leaSt 3/4" forward of the front cross member.
you checked your shackle angle before fully welding the hanger right?

cut off the hanger and reweld it further forward.

Looks like your frame mount for the steering stabilizer is about to come off
