SAS High Steer Problems DANA 44 HELP

Hey guys few questions on my high steer set up... (DANA 44 Front)

Ordered some flat top knuckles last week with some steering arms, well the steering arms rubbed my tires, i guess my tires were too wide or they messed up making the arms.

Made my own steering arms out of 1" stock but since i didnt cut and adjust my knuckles when i adjusted my pinion angle the arms are still below the leafs... SOLUTION: i welded a 3" spacer on the arm to pull the tie rod ends and bar over the axle. double and triple fillet welded in on.

My question is will this be safe? Has anyone ever done this or made there own arms with a spacer on it? And will my steering be alright with my knuckles not turned back to stock location there about 12 degrees off from stock so when i turn my wheels dip in or out?
