I have a 2012 Rav4 and was curious about weather or not I could manage a rear axle swap and a lift kit. This may sound ridiculous, but I think with the short wheelbase, and a good amount of ground clearance, it could be a decently capable off -roader that would surprise/ confuse anyone who saw it. Its already a ton of fun to rally around in stock. Is this possible, how hard would it be, and what are your thoughts on a RAD4.

 

well what are you plans for a replacement transmission etc?
with the front axle integrated into the transmission making that a straight axle is gonna be challenge
