pitman arm option
i bought a used hi steer kit and it didnt come with a pitman arm. and i was stupid and over looked that the stock ifs one wont work for it . so i was wondering if there is a straight replacement that i could pick up from the auto store/ maybe junkyard or do i have to buy one for a hi steer. also if that is the case has anyone just drilled/press out the tie rod thing and just used the old pitman arm for a temporary solution.

No other application pitman arm that I know of, you pretty much have to use the high steer pitman arm, or you could possibly use the adapter that SORD makes.

I have one, and a flat pitman arm in case I need it, but haven't done my sas yet so I can't give you a real world review yet, sorry.

I believe the Sky's Off Road Design pitman arm adapter is only around $30.00. Google sky manufacturing. It will thread into your drag link and has the correct taper for your pitman arm. I have ran one before with no problems. They have some top notch stuff.
