Landcruiser 80 series axle for SAS?
I was wondering if anyone have possibly used a 80 series LC axle in their build?
Also wondering if they have fashioned using the old brackets and kept it on coils?
The only issues I could think of is width spacing the frames are likely different so the upper buckets and control arms wouldn't line up.
It would be neat to try it though....
I found a article on a 2nd gen using hilux double cab axle and brackets running 44's in iceland.

They appear to be the same axle design as the 80 LC.

vwfastg60 is in the middle of it right now ... the WMS axle width appears to be a closer match to an IFS rear axle than a minitruck axle... highsteer components are rare(ish) and ridiculously expensive.

seems like there was alot of buzz about this prior to trailgear's plans for a custom front housing. with how much of a pain/expense and limited choices on hightsteer, running mini truck knuckles on a custom housing might be cheaper/easier. i'm hoping diamondaxle reduces the price on their housing when TG finally gets production rolling.
