How's it going everyone? I have a few questions about gearing. I am thinking of purchasing an 85' solid front axle, to do a sas on my 3.0 5speed 95 runner. The new front axle has 4.10's in it. Will that be sufficent for some moderate wheel'in or should I change the gearing? I am running stock 4.88's in rear with 31x11.50 BFG's

 

Well, if the rear is 4.88's then the front should match.

Unless you don't care aboot that, eh....

Or swap in a 4.10 set in the back.

BBP is dead on..mismatched gears will cause your transfer case to bind and fubar stuff.
