front axle

Im new to the site and really just got me a Toyota 1987 and I want the SAS and I found front and rear axles for $400 front axle rebuilt to stock. Is that a good deal on a axle. I dont do the offroadin mainly just mudding so I really want a lift for showboatin. So is this a good price for axles.

Thats a good price around here. They usually go for about 450. You dont need the rear axle though so try to get him to seperate. I got a axle then widened it to the same length as my IFs rear.

A bit high for Mississippi. You don't need the rear as what you got in the IFS is stronger. You can pick up a front sfa for $250 or less. Drive over to Tuscaloosa and I'll hook you up with the axle and the SAS.

^ what he said.... it should be under 250. The narrow rears are worth less than half what a ifs rear is.
