Ever swapped a Jeep axle into a 94 pickup?

Saw something on air shocks, and loosing the sway bar links. Links are gone already, I need shocks anyway might give the air shocks a try.
Maybe I'm simple, lift+ tires, springs, gears, lockers go. I don't know all about "back spacing" on rims. Various spring rates etc.
Got a lot to learn it seems lol. Which is why I'm hear. Also the only toyota guy in my group of friends. They are jeepers.

If I can get more wheel travel out of the front end, without dumping a lot of money into an ifs system I will leave it be. I mainly use this for hunting, camping, and some light trials. I wheel at the gorge in slade ky. I get most places ok, but that front end makes it rock around a good bit.

For ideas about getting more flex out of the ifs, check out the "ifs flex pics" thread in the '86-95 section of the forum.
If you're really just using this for hunting, camping, and light trails, then your ifs should be fine with some simple reinforcement. If you really want/need to put on 38's and wheel harder, watch the classifieds, eBay, Craigslist, etc. like someone already mentioned. I waited until parts were on sale at the very least if it was something I felt needed to be gotten from a retailer, like rebuild/seal kits.
