E-Locker in front
installed an e locker from an 03 taco v6 in the front of my sas conversion.
im changing to 5.29's. what the hell kind of gear do i install (reverse cut?)
i have '80 p/u front axle, '88 4run rear.

Just a regular v6 gearset. Front and rear carriers and gears are interchangeable.
The only reverse cut gears are for high-pinion applications, so if you were using a land cruiser (fj40 thru fzj80) front diff, then yes.

I just put one in mine. Just make sure you get the right master install kit for the gears and take your time...

I highly recommend you invest in the motor cover, Marlin sells for about $50. When you hit a rock with your E-Locker that motor sells for about $550. from Toyota. I tried the cable conversion kit, good idea but didn't work for me.

Marc, did you have problems with the motor touching the springs? I suppose the problems will be the same in the High Pinion E-Locker as the motor is in the same side...
I don't have any locker in the front yet, but I've a HP and I think I'll be changing it in the future for a HP E-Locker.
