dana 44 steering

I recently bought a 92 Toyota truck with chevy running gear sitting on 44" Ground Hawgs. Not sure how much lift the truck has but I have a dana 44 front axle and was wondering what is the best steering set up without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance.

say bye bye to that d44. its already been proven a billion times anything bigger then 38s with a STOCK 4 banger or maybe a weak ass 3.0 v6 and a d44 equals BOOM. i'm surprised the d44 hasnt spit an axle just looking at the 44 inch hawgs connected to them.

EDIT:

BTW, i do have a 92 4runner with a d44 and 14 bolt and 36 inch iroks.. i run rod end steering, works fine for me.. i thought about going high steer but its just not worth it to me.. i have a beefy ass tierod, and i'm not too concerned with breakage. only sucky thing is over time the rod ends WILL squeak.. especially if it gets wet and then sorta dries.. oh well.
