Where I'm at:
I've decided on the driveline and axles already, now I need to decide on the suspension.

Dana 60
14 bolt
5.3/4L60e/np241
63" rear swap
~35" tires

My main purpose for the build is not a trail rig or crawler, but rather and hunting and fishing rig, and daily driver for the winter. If the flexabilty can be compromised for a more stable ride, I'll do it.

My main question is the front. RUF seems to be the way to go, but how is it going to handle on the highway?

I'm still trying to decide what to do with the front end, spring wise. I don't have an issue fabbing parts, and I'd rather save the money using the RUF system. I'm not terribly concerned with flex on this build. I'd rather have a good ride down the highway, and minimum body roll. I realize that's going to be a challenge, and pretty much the opposite any one would want out of a lift for a trail rig.

Keep in mind, more power, similar weight, bigger axles, bigger tires, and the possibility of towing a boat or camper.

What springs would you run?

A 14 bolt on 35s? Plan on shaving the bottom of the housing?

Its easy to build a front RUF that is pretty stiff. Add more long leafs then short. Most Rufs are built for the opposite.

Plan on shaving, yes. It's a c&c axle, 63" ems.

60 is drw with srw hubs, going to shorten the long side 5"
