93 PU sas, question on donor axle type

Hey guys,

I have options to purchase the solid front axle from the following:

BJ70
BJ60
FJ40

Current rear axle is 58" in width, and I'd like to match that.

Hoping to keep my current T-case.

I should say that by 'work', I mean with 52" toyota rear leafs and proper pumpkin placement.

All 3 are passenger side diffs so they are just the same as your transfercase output.....all 3 are 9.5" low pinions.....the FJ40 might be an old 40 so maybe it has a coarse spline pinion so that's one tick against it. I'd say get the BJ70 front.

All leafpacks can be made to fit....just a slightly different placement of the frame mounts.

edit---also, the 40 is too narrow. The 60 or 70 is right at 58.5" I believe so if more width is needed there are always aluminum wheel spacers. My build uses a flipped FJ60 and 2" spacers on each side.....worked out nicely for me.
