Hello,

I am new to the site, and I am searching hoping to find some answers.

First I have a non-running 84 Pickup and an 88 Pickup that is running. I want a solid axle on my 88 to get into rock crawling, but I am not a good welder and I don't feel comfortable doing an SAS on my IFS front end.

What I was wondering is if my drivetrain and body components from my 88 will fit on my 84 Frame with little or no modifications.

Any help or direction with this would be greatly appreciated.

efi or carb?

I swapped an efi 85 2wd onto an 84 4runner frame(carb) and it was pretty basic...

had to move 2 cab mounts, but if your dealing with 2 pickups then you shouldn't have any issues.
