3rd gen sas questions
long story short I'm in the process of getting a free car which i am going to resell for some cash to invest in a 3rd gen 4runner i have some questions about sasing it
1 does a 3rd gen runner use a 8in rear
2 can you use a 84 truck axle in a 3rd gen
3 is there a way to easily retro fit the abs sensor or would it be easier to gut the light out of the cluster
i am also looking to put a turbo on this truck
4 how much boost is the 3.4l bottom end (i.e. crank-pistons) capable of handle i know i will have to upgrade fuel
6 somebody told me when you put in bigger injectors you have to mess with the ecm, I've personally never herd this, is it true?
i also plan on doing a rear chop on this such as mossyrocks did and a few other people that i cant recall right now and leave spring convertion
thanks for the help and advise
ps dont expect any immediate progress with this because last night i had toooooo much fun and it ended with me laying on the ground for 2 1/2 hours with a dislocated knee and me thinking that my truck was getting stolen as it was driving away without me in it

Please learn to search.
1. http://home.4x4wire.com/erik/diffs/
2. Ibid
3. Ibid
4. 75 psi
What the hell happened to 5?
6. Way more trouble than it's worth.
And back to my original statement, it's great to dream and have plans for your Toyota, but please learn to search.

Fair enough about the search
2-3What is ibid
4And 75 psi are you including backpressure psi from the turbo housing
5 not sure what happened to five must of decided it didn't like this thread
6 I don't want to modify ECMs I believe I'm smart to a point (others may disagree) but ECMs are over my head just asking if it was true
