Are any of you guys running spacers on your wheels? I just bought new wheels and tires but the tires hit the control arms up front. I'm so frustrated!!!

Nope, don't run any. But I have stock wheels from a 2000 4Runner running metric 31's with bj spacers up front. Maybe someone with wider tires might have some.

Any off topic stuff can fit into birdbrains bumper thread without worries, it's a little random in there.

 

I'm running 1.5" spacers no issues. I was running just 1/4" spacers up front to clear the upper a-arms so I know what you are talkin about.

 

Yeah just ask bbp, he is just starting out with all these mods and such. Such a cute little first gen he's got!

 

Thanks guys. I have read the bumper thread. Quite entertaining. Maybe I'll throw the question in there too. Can't hurt right? I think for now I'll have these tires mounted on my old ugly chrome wheels so I can get some use out of them this weekend.

 

BBP do you recommend any particular spacers?
