Well, sounds like we have enough interest for a ride, so lets plan on:
Sat., March 15th, meet off the Tinkham Rd. exit on I-90 at 9:30 AM
I open to changes in time/date if anyone has problems with that timeframe. I'm probably the newby in the group, so someone who knows the trail(s) is going to have to lead.

That culvert is far along one of the powerline roads. It was definitely a "neat" find. I'm curious to see what's at the other end. Didn't bring my flashlight (or shotgun), so I wasn't about to go through it.
Anyway, the last 5 pics are all related. 2nd to last one is where there once was a bridge. That bridge would have taken you right across/above the culvert/waterfall thing. I walked up top and saw that sign (last pic)...I'm guessing that might be the name of the stream.
We can check it out on the run, but there is probably just enough room for 2-3 trucks to turn around.
Mike, I dunno how far they go...this is one of my first real explorations of the area. I plan on going many more times...

Sounds like a nice crowd - count me in too!
Tinkham holds a special place in my heart. It was there that we went on my first WATTORA run and I had my first "oh $h!t" moment in my 4Runner. Heh-heh!

Dunno the exact number. There are actually 2 exits for it. The first is just Tinkham Rd, the second is Tinkham Rd / Denny Creek. Either will get you to Tinkham Rd (obviously), and the main road up the mountain is inbetween both of those exits.
It is approximately 30-45 minutes past Issaquah on I-90. If you hit Snoqualmie Pass...you've gone too far.

I have the Eastbound exit number on a Post-It at work... I will post it here when I get there.
As you get off the exit going Eastbound, make a right onto Tinkham road and just before it turns to dirt, there is a good air down/meet spot on the left hand side.
9:30 AM is a bit early for my blood, so look for me sometime after 10:00.

OK. Forgot March 15th is my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Big shin-dig going on that day.
How about the March 8th. If not, anybody want to join me on the 8th. Don't know my way around but it will be fun checking it out.

I believe Tinkham is exit 42, and Denny Creek is exit 47.... Both will lead to Tinkham. Denny Creek exit will get us closer to the road that takes us up the mountain faster, but if we take 42 then we can explore all the other split-off roads before going higher. Just a thought.

My vote is to keep the main run on the 15th as planned, but I'm up for a bit of exploring on the 8th with SMR and anyone else. I need the practice.
