Got narrow steel punches as well as a big brass one. I also have a work bench or two but NO vise. Although handy, we really don't NEED one. No creepers either. I hate em. I end up rollin' over my fingers or gettin' hung up on tools and crap so it's ususually just easier to lay on some cardboard.

Yah, take the end links off the sway bar and it should flip up out of the way enough. I just prefer as little in the way as possible.

Your yahoo links are dead!!! Wudup wid dat?

To get the pics to show use...[IMG]then the pics addy here[/IMG]

So if I wanted to show this pic
http://members.cox.net/trailrigequip...ages/skull.gif
I'd just put that between the IMG tags and it'll show. See?

I'd really like to see those pics on the yahoo links.

Anybody that needs my addy, PM me so I can respond. Since I'll be needing to send it to several peeps, this will make it easier for me.

GRRR that's what I did!! and it wouldn't show up as a pic. So .. maybe it was the way I shared the Y! pictures? Lemme fool around some more. The links were working on my computer last night, possibly because I was logged in to Yahoo....

So you just can't use Yahoo to host your pics... they give you dynamic links which change every time you take a breath.
That's why they showed up as links, and why the links didn't work.... As you can see, I went with www.freepichosting.com

Pic 1 of the sway bar connection...I think we can leacve those connected, kist the ends loose, and push the loop over hte 3rd up high enough to yank the 3rd out. I guess we'll see.

Pic 2 of the ebrake goin' in to the backplate....yah, I'm not sure how that comes off. Probably from the inside after removing the drum. Probably not a biggie.

Pic 3 of the hard brake line....definately has to be removed as the whole drum brake assy. comes off with the axle.

Pic 4 of the sensor on top o da 3rd....coll den! It was dark and I coudn't see the bolt head.

Pic 5 of the yoke flange...yah, that's where I'm talkin' bout. Spray dat real good.

Yah, brake fluid. I have some but totally forgot to mention dat.

I'm sure there's something else I'm forgettin'.

I've got the one that came with my compressor package deal from Lowes, so no idea if it's any good or not. I will bring it.

Lowe's is open on Sunday....if it breaks, the toys will come to life and make them give up a new one ...

As far as the sway bar... 6 bolts and we can take it all off, eh? lol

Chiltons doesn't offer much help on the brake lines, except for the diagram. That bigger line, the ebrake...is actually a speed sensor for ABS. Step 6: "Disconnect the brake line from the wheel cylinder, being careful not to damage the fitting. Plug the brake line."

I coulda told you that!!!

So it must be easy...or too hard to write up.

Brake cleaner? Maybe we need some of that.
Oil drain pans? I can bring one...

Anyway...I must make sure the woman knows...almost forgot about that part...

I'll Be there. I have to stick in my roll bar tomorrow and swap out my brake line, or maybe I should just wait and do it at the mini wrenchathon.

Just got back from the shop and it seems the last place I used it was there cause it was sittin' on my press.

Anyways, I snagged it and the little (noisy) 2hp compressor so the only thing suggested I believe we're lacking in a vise and a torque wrench. I think John said he had one but if yaul got em, bring em. That right John? I've never seen a problem arrise from having to many tools. (unless your carrying them up a ladder)

If any of yaul have a set of 1/2" drive metric impact sockets, bring em.

If not, we'll just ese 3/8" drive sockets and a drive reducing socket.

See ya in the morn'!

BTW: Just swung by and talked to Justin at Violent. I can't say enough about how nice this guy is. They were turning out another sweet paint job and truss'n an axle for link mount.

The shock install is a breeze. No jacks or nothing needed. Just some minor hand wrenches. It's straight forward. A no brainer. You can do it!
