Quote: What E-locker do you have for your front end? I didn't know of one. Although not having the same axle as you, haven't really researched it. I work on my rig almost every weekend if you need a hand. The "E" part would be where my strengths lie
I just got a TRD e-locker from the rear of a Tacoma. My front end housing needs to be modified to fit it. It is basically the same locker you have on the Lexus. I need to grind, drill and tap my housing to make it fit.

I do have the weekend off...so lets plan this trip in a hurry...who's in??

Right now I'm out. Still need to find time to get the top hoops bent for the bumper, besides the rest of the fab work. Hopefully will have it done first week in March. Not the best time of year for a long fab project but I had no choice. Turns out Super 9 took its toll on my OEM bumper - breaking the right side mounting plate. It was only a matter of time before it fell off. Next time.........

I'm in for TDP. My buddy John is down if we can change the flex plate on his XJ.

I think we're gonna head out on Friday and just do a day run on Saturday. It would be cool to see some new faces.

Do you have the harness and ECU? My lockers run off of a 30 amp circuit (for both of them). If you don't have a switch already it may be as simple as switching 12V.

I should be able to make it next weekend, so long as everything goes well this weekend, gonna take a quick and easy scenic drive in AB to test my new poor man's can-back ($150 sunbrella/ABS plastic frame) and see if it was worth all the labor.

I have the harness from the locker to the ecu--I will wire up my own switch or buy the kit from Inchworm.

I'll be at the TDS Friday, Saturday night, and Sunday. It's my first time going. It sure is nice to have a 4Runner again.

I donated some ball joint spacers to the raffle but next year I'm going to try to get SDORI way more involved.

So you don't actually need to have the ECU? Do you know what the resistor is for on the inchworm kit? If you're not familiar with how the locker works when you have the ECU, you engage the switch and the idiot light in the dash blinks until the locker is actually locked, then it lights up solid.

I assume with inchworm kit the light just comes on when you flip the switch?

From the pic on the inchworm site, the kit looks pretty simple. If you can find out what the resistor is for I can get almost everything else for you for free.

Do you want to start a list again of those going and what they'll be contributing?

I have the locker working on the bench already. I may take you up on the offer to help as I am an electrical idiot.

As far as TDS is concerned, we are going to have a much smaller group. Should we plan a group dinner?

Going--

Marc P
Steve
Seth
John
Josh
Brad
Zach
Jim

Not going--

Eric
Mikey
Andy
Ryan

I think on the way out, we should tp the houses of all the dudes on the Not Going list. Marc, I assume you will have Eric covered.

Josh, John and I will get Mikey.

Steve and Brad can get Andy.

Zach and Jim can get Ryan.

I think I'll be able to make it is you guys don't mind. I did a little test run today and I really need some new treads, hopefully I'll be able to take care of that this weekend, you think I'd be OK and not slow anyone down with just a rearlocker and hopefully some decent 275/75/16s? I got stuck in some wicked sand up coyote canyon today along with an F250, had to have some jeeps help me outta there.
