Snows gonna be a problem almost anywhere...a few places here and there, but not ones that folks are gonna want to do...

come up with a couple more trails....we'll see where they're at...we could look at wheeler, or even go look at chinamans, though both could be far too snow covered...we could go to colorado springs or Ft Collins too...

whats that trail up Ft. Collins that a few did this summer ?
hey why dont we plan something down in the Springs one day,
something around here one day,
then something up north ?
this way everyone can join us ??? its just a thought

Twin Cone/wheeler on Friday, Crystal mtn/Moody Hill Sat, and Eagle Rock on sunday? Sounds good...lets get out and beat on the junk before the real snow gets here.

Did a bit of searching on Eagle Rock, and boy o boy, that looks like a hoot. Im definitly gonna have to run that one. I've never wheeled up in CO Springs either.

I would love to give Wheeler another shot with the new tires. But well have to see what the money situation is by then. Count me in though for Eagle Rock

As of now, you can count Rocket and I in for the Twin Cone & Wheeler trip (can't get off work any of the other days). However, on 4x4trails.net they say the following: "The Forest Service will be installing a gate to keep the trail closed during the winter months (probably closes around Nov.1)."

Can anybody verify this? It would suck to go there, and then have the trail gated.
