Awesome! My buddy from OB brought me up a regular sized double bastard a couple week ago. They're pretty tasty. You'll have to cruise up my way sometime and tour the brewery with me. They let you taste everything. Thier "Old Guardian" is pretty good as well as thier smoked porter.

yeah, i started a thread in the classified for the whole truck. it's got 212,320 as the final odometer reading on the truck. had the head rebuilt a few years ago when it blew a headgasket and got the invoice that proves it.

hey seth, would you want to meet me in san diego and we can leave to superstition as a group? that would just make my life way easier seeing as i'm not going to know anyone else there. especially if i can't find anyone to come with me because my friends are all losers.

and if someone buys this damn motor or the tranny i can get myself a nice little cb too

I'm going to be running late friday as well. My last lesson ends at 6:30 by my house in Vista. I'll probably meet up with the goons I'm bringing and be heading down by 7:30 (I hope).

Alan- You're welcome to caravan with me or Marc. Good luck selling the tranny. You're definitely gonna want to have a cb though.

guys,

most likely i will be meeting you guys on early sat morning due to a friend coming in from boston on thursday. also, there is a very good possiblity that i can get mucho cerveza from my neighbor for free. all bud products as he is an asst brewmaster at the van nuys bud facility  i'll bring some korean bbq as well.

my apologies if i missed it, but i am not sure exactly where we are meeting (josh's list of gps coords)?

Bob- Although josh's coords are kickass, I highly doubt we'll be able to get the same exact camping spot, with as many people show up there. It won't be too hard to find the biggest group of yotas out there. I believe I got cell reception out there last year, so I can toss my number to you if that helps.

In other news, Protrux believes to have found a carrier that is in good shape (The bearings were a biznatch to pull off ) It sounds like things might work oiut for me. Keep your toes crossed.

Sorry guys. Definitely no go for me this time. I would love get together with you guys some other time though. I'll definitely plan on going next year. Hopefully, my Runner will have some sort of rear locker by then. You guys have a safe and a fun one out there.

BTW, if you guys are ever in Kearny Mesa area. I'm in the little key shop kiddie-corner from Cheetahs. Stop in and say "hi."

I'll be heading out probably around 3-4 on Friday. I'll be at/near the coordinates from last year or hanging out with Mikey or whoever shows up first monitoring CB channel 4. I'll be showing up with a friend with his stock Rubicon. Can't Wait!!
