i will busy during those days as well Brian. remember though - you can't pick a date that is perfect for everyone so the best is to pick one thats best for you. one way or the other you will have people going.

Do you have a definite date yet? We'd like to go, just need to set some time aside for the run.

5th or 12th of September? i think i can definitely make that trip it's so far in advance. i was thinking of checking some stuff out at the end of july, maybe like the weekend of the 25th or the 1st of Aug. since fairy is planning the pardoe's trail/squaw ridge, i was thinking of something like strawberry or eagle lakes/grouse - both of which are relatively close to donner and tahoe area. but since i've never been on any of those trails listed, maybe someone who actually HAS gone on them can chime in if they see these threads we've got here.

you tell 'em john. that's some bs right there. seems like many people are having trouble with those guys this year. kinda glad the factory 4.88s only come in a V6 housing. limited me to a lockright, which got delivered 2 days after i bought it on ebay from Summit. ARB is the way to go though, but so damn pricey. That's the way it's gotta be though when you go for quality. Not looking forward to seeing the bill when i decide to upgrade to F/R, 4.88/ARB combo in the Land Cruiser so it can run 35s, but that's down the road...

yeah Brian, ARB is the way to go but i am hesitant to pay that price. I wanna know why they went up in price?!?!?!? Nikon did the same with all of their photo equipment as well. almost every thing jumped almost 20%. makes it hard to go buy stuff when you need it

try scared to death of going under. at this point inflation is a non issue.
well I canceled the aussie order after such a long time. mind you i ordered it march 24th. I ordered the lockright and it should be here TODAY.... how does a company that makes such a simular product get me one in a day and the other can't get it here in almost three months.
sorry for the thread jack fairy
we now resume our previous broadcast show "mangled metal mania on squaw ridge"

lockright service = A+

Ok so i am not sure of the quality yet of the lockright but holy crapola, a company that delivers when they say they will. That's just amazing. It showed at the shop about 4 pm so i will go pick it up tomorrow. with any luck i will also get the redline gear oil and be set. i probably won't get it in till late next week though

I planned a trip for Eagle Lakes/Fordyce, but no one wants to go on Fordyce so would you guys wanna go run Eagle Lakes and Signal Peak and skip Fordyce on June 28th?

i have a buddy wants to go on a run with me so something like that would probably work for me. I got to lookin at my tires today and found that every single one is ripped up pretty bad. not dangerous or anything just ripped up. gonna try to take them back and possibly get some 33's we will see. i devised a way to make 33's fit and work with the flex with out - yes i said with out a major lift. we will see if my idea works.
