I'll be heading up to Columbia, SC, from FL that weekend so I'd definitely like to join the bunch. My truck has 31's and is pretty much stock so I'll probably be doing the easy stuff. I'm looking to get some sliders, maybe, before then. Anyone know where I can pick up some good quality bolt-ons at a good price?
I'm supposed to go to Columbia this weekend, too, but I have another hurricane headed toward my house so I don't know if I'll make it or not. This will be the third one to hit Volusia County. At least the damage to my house hasn't been too bad. We're still here and I know for sure that my electric bill will be really low this month. That's a comforting thought.
BTW, don't forget to watch Clemson kick the S*#T out of Florida State at Florida State this weekend! Yes, I live in Florida, but I'm a Clemson fan. I grew up in Dixiana, SC, which is near West Columbia. I'm an Old State Rd. muddin' redneck woman. For those of you who live in or near Columbia, you should know about Old State. If you don't, then you should be ashamed. Familiarize yourself with this timeless, muddy icon of a road. There will be a test later.

Yes, they are.

Maybe so, but, it's o.k. to dream. We surprised the hell out of them last year with the little spanking we gave them.

I called and reserved the 4ROC NC site, but do Jason and Jeremy need to call as well, I don't see why if they are with me, but does Crawford's just need to know a total number of rigs to expect?

He'll tally you up depending on how many folks are on the site. As long as you have one reserved, that is what matters.

If you stay on a powered site you will need a RV hookup converter plug so you can use a household extension cord. Walmart for $1.50.

I gotz an 800W inverter me sef, but for a $1.50 adapter that I already got, I'm gonna be plugged into the AC unlimited power and only use the inverter if we have another power black out like we had on the SER4RJ.

BTW, what time do ya'll head out in the mornings? Do you use your CB's or those little handheld jobs? I've got both, but I'd like to drag along as little as possible. Don't want alot of crap floating around in the cab whilst I'm driving, you know.
Do you guys know if Bain does sliders for 1st Gens? I tried to reach him through the NC board, but it's down.

E-locker For Sale $500

Whats up guys, sorry I'm a late poster.

My brother (Custom Cruiser) and I both have some issues with our rigs. Mine has 3 bad u-joint and a grinding sound in my transfercase. I have sliders, E-locker, rear bumper and winch so I down for some har trails. I don't really care about body damage but the factory skidas are dented badly but have been pounded out again. I have lost a little fuel capacity but that doesn't matter. I have a CB so what channel?????

My brothers SAS 94 Runner has rear wheel drive with 4.10 and 4.88 in the 84 front. He has no drive shaft but is trying to build a square one. He has an rear E-locker 3rd with 4.30s and a rear full spool with 4.88s in a box. If he sells the E-locker ($500) or gets $ soon then he'll regear the rear with a spool and put his drive shaft in.

E-locker for sale $500

I am having at least 5 peeps with me Matt (Custom), Andy, Emily and Eric

Emily has a green 97 4Runner Limited with a rear E-Locker and factory slicks that will probible reside in the campground.

My friend Eric is rolling his 99 Tacoma The Taco was stolen and recovered and then he rear ended a trailer hitch. He ordered a cornfed 3" spacer and add a leaf and is planning on a 3" body lift and 35s but is rolling 31 BFG long trails now.

I need to call for Reservations for 5 peeps and atleast 4 rigs.

Jon glad to see your back in action on the boards. I thought you and Matt had droppeed off the face of the earth. :pat: Do you think you and Matt might have some time to fab me up some sliders before the run? If you think you could, could you psot me a pic of your design, I would prefer not to dent up my new baby.

That above statment is somewhat contriditory seeing how I just go in an accident the other day with her. The TJM took it like a champ, tore the van up and left everything on the 4Runner intact minus one head light, and my air bags. I should have her back in a week or so depending on the time it takes to get though the paper work. Wish me luck.

I got a set of 3rd gen sliders sitting in my garage, my old ones that were on the 00. All you would need is some support rails, scab plates and a welder! I could bring them next weekend!
