hey guys, I'm sorry to say but I can not make it... I just found out I bombed my last exam for one of my classes and I am borderline from passing right now... Finals is next week so I will pretty much be studying the entire weekend.

cool that you will be coming along. There is a list of stuff you should bring on the first posting of this thread. All of the updated info is being posted there so we don't have to scroll to find it.
Good call going with the Donahoes. You will love them. Pricey but they rock. Had them on my Taco and should have put them on the Runner also but I went cheap. :pat:

For some of ya guys coming from SD the back way, I've added a second meeting point as I looked at the map and the Ontario Mills/Dave and Busters meeting junction was sort of out of the way.
The alternate meeting location will be at McDonalds right off the 10 after you get off the 215.
Mc Donald's
Address: 100 Redlands Blvd, San Bernardino, CA 92408
Phone: (909) 825-8906
We'll all swing by at 8am to meet ya from D&B so make sure you guys can make either one. I figure this would be the best alternative option for any of those that want to go up the 215 and cut the drive a bit shorter.
I'm going to be fueling up once I get into to Big Bear so feel free to fuel up w/ me then
There's plenty of gas/food places at either meeting junctions too btw.
Dress warm and make sure you guys plan for one crazy trip. Since the trail conditions on uncertain, please come prepared. Shovels, wood, tools, etc etc. Warm clothes and sleeping bags/blankets for the passengers would be a good idea. Lots of food/water and don't forget the sunblock! (we're higher up).
PM me if you need my cell. Be there or be square
Cya Saturday!
edit...
bring cameras and video cameras too!

Sorry Lance I am not going to make it Sat. I need to do some stuff around the house, and to my truck. I went wheeling last weekend and need to make some adjustments.
Have a great time, and take lots of pics so I can regret not going.

Thinking about it. Girl 13yrs, boy 9yrs. BUT....If it gets muddy and slow going it may bore the shizzer out of them and make a mess on the inside of the truck and I'd like to travel light (for a change). I'll wait and see till Friday and see how keen they are. If they come, so will the wifey
Update - I am travelling solo. Yeah!!!

I cannot believe I am posting this but I may not be able to go. Father in law is flying in today from Anchorage so I loose my co-pilot (wife) for sure. Short notice (Wed) trip but he is a pilot and flies for free on stand-by so he does this from time to time. Good to see family but timing is not the greatest. May come alone.

If in doubt, bring chains if you got 'em. They work in mud, too, tho I avoid mud like the plauge these days.
