I'm in for Carvacre, no funds for anything farther plus, Morena is sooo overgrown, major pinstriping!
I don't have my lights yet, so I'm holding off on a night carvacre run. But there will be one soon!
I'll PM Lance too,Since he missed out on the last HV trip, he's probably dying to get those tires in the dirt.
Whatever happened to the weekend Hungry valley camp/4x4 trip?

I was up at HV this weekend. Pretty cool place, I love the practice area, but the trails were a bit too tame for my taste. There was a pretty big turnout of 14 trucks: 11 4Runners, 3 Tacomas and one Ranger. If it wasnt for meeting all those people, it woudnt have been worth the trip up there.

Rob thanks for the PM!

I'd love to join ya but unfortunately I'm working during the week (and on some weekends) so I'm going to have to pass

The good thing is that I finally got my lift in and the tires!!!! I have a photo shoot w/ Downey on Sunday out in Barstow so I'll be able to test out the suspension/tires.

The next possible date I'm free is sometime in march unfortunately. I'm pretty swamped with work and travel that I'll be gone most of the time in Feb!!! I just hope that I'll have some net access where I am cuz I'll be hurtin not readin these threads.. hehe

When you guys are up for a Miller Jeep Run, we definitely should give it a try! I'm definitely up for some of the more difficult trails now.

OK Wed it is--

Robb, Robt2k, and anyone else who is available- we will hit up a small trail in Blossom valley then hit up the infamous carveacre. We can go at any time. I also need to be back before 5 so we should head out by 10am or so. I will let Rob2k pick a meeting spot as I do not know where the 1st trail is.

Ok, Wed. morning 10am.
Meet at 7-11 on Lake Jennings exit off of 8 East. It's a few exit's before alpine. The 7-11 is straight ahead once you get off of the exit. Robb let me know if you need more info.

The trail in blossom valley is mostly pretty tame. There is 2 ways to the top of a big hill called Hanglider (alot of guys take off from there to glide over the valley on the other side)
One way up is very steep and rutted, worse than Carvacre, but pretty short and fastest way to the top, Good views and some rocks to pose on up there <------Look.
The other way is more mellow and slowly climbs the spine of the hill from the side, 2wd friendly for sure. It's just a cool place to get a little wheeling in close to home, sometimes we bring quads out there too. Nothing to make a trip exclusively for unless you live close and have an hour to kill.
You could just come and do Hanglider, if you have to be somewhere by 1, We'll be starting at 10am and most likely be done there by 11:30 at the latest. I just wanted to show marc where it is so he knows, then we'll be moving on to carvacre.

Good trip today, except no pics. Robb you did really good today.
Don't let open diffs hold you back! Way to go noobie!!!!
Marc we've got to go back to hanglider and get some pics/vids of your wheel stands and the angle you were leaning. Awesome.

That means I better leave the heat gun out so I can bend the valence back in place --again.

When do you want to go??

Whenever, it's so freakin close. Did you ask Nolan if he's ready for some dirt action?

Sounds like it could be fun! However I'd need a fair amount of advanced warning to make this trip. My company is merging with another company so things are pretty hectic but could use the break for sure!

I havea question to pose to you SD peeps. One of the things I'm looking at doing is a RB 1" body lift. I've got it priced out and waiting to order but I'm going to need help doing it. Anyone here interested and have experience with body lifts?
