so which is faster 8 to 79 or 67 to 78 to 79?

 

I will probably take the 67....my truck hates going up the 8

 

So which is faster assuming you aren't rolling a 3.slow? Not tryin to be a ball breaker just trying to figure out which route is better. I've done the 79 route from 8, its pretty twisty turny, but never gone the other way.

 

Brad since you are in a 3rd gen the 8 is the best in my opinion.

I'm bummed that I can't make this trip with you guys, especially after flaking out on your B-day run Marc.

The turtle is getting a nosejob while I'm out here working so at least I have that to look forward to I guess. But there better be some good pictures and some better stories after this run!!!

 

well, autozone somehow lost my CV in the mail. Was supposed to be here Saturday. I'm supposed to be getting a new one tomorrow. We'll see. If they don't get it, I might have to flake. If I do, you guys can still come get some wood from my pad.

 

i'm still good to go....i'll be leaving glendale around 5:30am on Saturday if anyone wants to caravan from LA.

 

I dealt with the same bullÅÅÅÅ when I changed out my CV's a couple of weeks ago. I gave them enough ÅÅÅÅ that they took 60$ off the total price. Tell them you were scheduled to leave town for work and that the inconvenience cost you X amount of $$. That's too weird that the same thing happened to you. LOL.

 

So do you guys want to have a "theme" for our Sat dinner? Mexican, Italian..etc

There is air in Ocotillo Wells and Borrego Springs, so no worries....plus I have my trusty MV-50
