Reiter cleanup
Its that time again folks, our biggest effort to keep the area open to all to use..
Its sunday may 2nd!!!!
Bring the whole family! Sign up so we can get credited work hours for the clean up, which helps future projects and funding.
Circle up starts at 9:00, lunch served at noon, wheeling 1-4pm.
Trash bags supplied by WSMDA, bring rakes, shovels, gloves, and for 4x4 recovery gear for vehicle extraction.
Questions, call Helen Willis (425) 252-2741, Mike Liebold (425) 347-5096 or (425) 347-4545

I too agree with this statement, "Not a single reply, how funny, people wanna use it, and bitch about not having areas to play at and not want to do anything to help keep them open"

Central Washington Offroaders may help.
Let me talk to the group I am going with on May 2nd to Moses Lake. Maybe I can talk them into a Reiter run instead of Moses. If I can't I am planning on a run over there on the 5th or 6th so I will do some cleaning them. Are there any camping area's up that way? Ben

Ok, there will be a tent at the main pit, can't miss it, there is where you will need to sign up(when you sign up, it logs volunteer hours we can use for getting grants and so forth) and then we clean till around one, and then those of you who wish to, go play for the rest of the day...
There is also an active organization that meets in everett once a month, if you guys wish, I can post those meetings also.. This is the one big effort a year that IMO keeps the place open, and I truely would hate to see us loose it (granted, I also live 7 minutes away,lol)...
If anybody needs any more info just ask..
Thank you...

Folks, Crash is on target with this one. For those of us who wheel in Western Washington, we will all use the Reiter area at one point or another and this is a chance to show the powers that be that we appreciate having access to the area and we would like that to continue. It's also a chance to show that off roaders are the not all the knuckle dragging types who dump trash there. Instead we are an organized force to be reckoned with, who care about the condition of our trails.
This is important enough that WATTORA has designated this be an official run and we have had it on our calendar for a month now.

The group I am going with to Moses Lake wants to stick with the plan so I guess we are out for the day. Sorry, wish we could help. I am still planning on a late week trip over that way so i will pick up whatever I can find then. Ben

Hey i live in everett and if i could figure out how to get there and i dont have to work i will come. If anybody could link me to directions that would be cool.
EDIT: Ok got directions. Do i need an ORV pass or something? I have never been so i dunno. And could my stock little pickup have fun just sitting on 31" tires?
I will see if i can round up the buddies at school to come too!
