Red Cone Run this Sat. Aug. 6th
Date: Sat, Aug 6th
Meeting Place: Webster Pass road. Take Hwy 285 west. A few miles past the small town of Grant turn right on County Rd. 60. Continue on the dirt road for about 5 miles and meet near the main road, in a parking area on the left, before the Webster\Red Cone junction. See map. We can air down there. The meeting spot is about an hour from West Denver. Here is a map. http://www.yodertech.com/Webster%20Map
Time: Meet between 9-9:30am. We will leave at 9:30. Catch us on channel 4 if your late. But, if you don't know when Red Cone heads up it can be tricky to find.
Sorry for the late notice. I got last minute approval from the wife to do a run. I'm getting my runner back from Oleg tomorrow. He put a skid plate on to protect my crawler and replaced a seal to hopefully fix a leak from my stock case.
This is only a moderate run, but for experienced drivers only. It's can be quite a rush to drive Red Cone at 13000 ft for most people. Radical Hill is also a narrow shelf road at altitude. We will be hitting the Missouri Gulch rock garden (difficult) on the way back to Breckenridge. But, that could be optional for others.
Mojo, I know you have been wanting to do this this year. Cajun, this is your favorite trail.

Ah man I feel like a chump now. I didn't see that run Mojo already has planned up north. Even Adrian's and Cajun's going. Shucks, I already have this planned with the Rising Sun guys so there no turning back for me. Have to catch you guys at the Jam.
