Guys,

Does anybody have directions, route maps, or GPS Waypoints for these trails?

My crew is planning a trip, April 15-17.

TIA, Jim

Is Big Falls open?
Directions to Pismo: Get off Grant St. at Arroyo Grande on the 101 and head West till you hit the ocean!
I havent been up to Garcia Ridge but is High Mountain Road part of Pozo?

The gate between Hi Mountain Rd and Pozo is closed, so you can only go a little way in. In order to get to the real trails of Pozo you need to go up to Santa Margarita and out Highway 58. Yes Milton, believe it or not, I have a customer out on Hi Mtn Rd now....

So, if we are gonna wheel the dunes...

On Saturday, then Big Falls and Garcia ridge on Sunday, sounds like we should break camp at the beach Sunday AM.

Do we have to go all the way around thru SLO and Santa Marg to get there?

TIA, Jim

Very funny.... Yes, I'm still alive. Just because I lurk more than I post....

I'd be down for a day trip trail run to BF. I bet the creeks are running like crazy and there are mud puddles galore! My truck needs a good mud bath, it's getting lazy on it's diet of asphalt.

I talked to seth like 3 weeks ago, I guess the creek undercut the trail on the BigFalls trail... so part of it is undriveable right now... but who knows..

I finally got my truck smogged and registered today!! Insurance starts tomorrow!!!! SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! But... I have a field trip at Oso Flaco(south of the dunes, right by the drag strip) tomorrow at 10:00am, it'll end around 1 or 2 pm.

I think im still gonna drop the tranny tonight and look for whats ticking, but I cant wait to go wheeling!! (Im gonna pass the dunes though, not ready for that)

Anyways, whats the plan?

Oso Flaco is cool.
Neat bridge/walkway and lakes. Just hope for your sake it is not too windy or you could go for a swim.

Hey George! Yes I've been there a few times and boy does it get windy! The wind usually kicks up in the afternoons... (Its funny how a alot of locals that live here never been to Oso Flaco!)

Hmmm not sure if I can make it with you guys on Saturday, but I will make it out there on Sunday for sure!
