I'm supposed to go to Rausch Creek this weekend (9/17-9/18) but we might bail on the trip because of the weather forecast (damn Ivan).

If I don't go this weekend I will probably go next weekend.

Concerning the discussion above about which trails, a stocker can handle the lower blues, but at least one locker really helps, and there's always a chance for some body damage. Anybody with running boards won't have them when they go home.

Let me check with the Mrs. about Sunday the 26th.

Anyone care if I invite a couple of non-toyota buddies of mine?

OK... I'm in for Sunday the 26th. I'd like to run some blues to see what my truck can do, but it might be a bit much for a stock rig (ground clearance).

Who all is serious about this date, and what kind of trails do you want to run?

If we settle on this date, is it worth starting a new thread?

You know what? I'm up to it definitely that weekend I'm just not sure if the truck is... I have the running boards, stock height and the fact that I have that in it self can't help.
And I'm not too crazy about risking body damage either. So... what I'm thinking is that I might just try and get a seperate group to go greens with me the first time I go and try and tag along later with someone on a weekend through the blues to see if I think that my car can make it. I don't know... heh. I could drop my running boards for the weekend, although I might just drop them off forever and not worry about them... but thats not for sure yet. And my front bumper I'm sure I don't wanna drop, so idk.

Is Paragon set up where you can go around the harder parts of the blue trails if you're not up to it? If thats set up like that, with access type roads around the trails then I'd definitely be up to whatever just because I can choose, but I don't think its like that.. and I don't wanna be lagging anyone down when they want to do harder trails and I can't. Any opinions?

From what I've seen... a harder trail is a harder trail... it's not just a trail with bigger obsticles here and there. If you've got running boards, you'll probably take some damage even on greens... especially the harder greens. I've wacked my sliders a couple of times on green trails.
