UPDATE:
We will be camping at the trail head on Stone Quarry Road Friday night. Anyone leaving Columbus and would like to follow us down can do so Friday.
Conditions are getting dry for this trail (expect mud though) so the requirement for the locker has been dropped.
There are 2 very challenging areas on this trail.
1.) I call the gatekeeper. It's a series of mudholes within the first 100 yards of the trail. No bypasses here. You MUST do them to run the trail.
2.) The Flats- A series small holes down by the river that never dry out.
If it stays dry, it will be a walk in the park.
Leaving Columbus at 5 pm on Friday and arrive to set up camp at the trailhead by 7 pm.

I hope to make that my first "test" run with the new 4.3 in July. It would make for a good highway trip. We will be there in the next 60 days, I can almost bet my rig on that one. A few of us have been talking Attica lately.

Rock'nRoll! Trekker this couldn't have come at a better time.....60hr work weeks, 2 recent expensive tickets, a wheel bearing I never did fix, an ex-gf messing w/ my mind, an associates degree that's turning into a 4yr fiasco, getting turned down on renting a farmhouse I'd been scoping for years....I'm still at home....still at school....still single....still working full time(good thing but not while I'm in school), still being hounded by financial aid....
All I can say is I can't wait to hit the trail.....hope I can keep up.

It really doesn't get any easier as you get older and have more responsibilities, you just learn to wheel more
to balance everything out.Ianshoots,
You can always camp and bump a ride in one of our rigs if you want to join us. We are pretty easy going..

Bring your campin goods and a good attitude. Your set. You can caravan down with me and Vince Friday if you want or I can give you directions where to meet in McArthur. Then it's a 10 minute drive from there to the campsite and trail head.
Welcome!

). So if you still think I could score passenger seat (or backseat if there are any runners) then it looks like I am at about 97% for being there. Also, if I am coming from the Dayton area, does caravaning with you and the infamous Vince make sense, or should I just find my own route and plan to meet you guys?
Thanks!

It's a go boys. We have a couple other rides joining us. A diesal cruza
for one.
Bring your bug spray. Ian, we have you covered. Can you guys GPS your way there if I give you the coordinates to the campsite? Or you can follow us down Friday Night. 4 of us are Towing. Vince is driving his truggie.

I'd sure be cool if I could GPS it, but I can't, yet. If I were to follow, where in Columbus do you guys meet up? I haven't been down that way for a long time, so following the caravan is probably my best option.
Feel free to PM me with whatever info I should have.
