Hey all,

There is an offroad trip to Long Lake scheduled for Saturday April 5th, 2003. We meet at 8:00 AM at the MAC's store in Gibbons and caravan up together.

If you are a not a NA4WD member and would like to go, there will be a $10 fee for this trip.

Here is a list of minimum & recommended items for you and your 4x4:

MINIMUM vehicle requirements:
a.. Four wheel drive w/transfer case
b.. Service brakes sufficient to stall engine in gear
c.. Park brake sufficient to stall engine in gear
d.. Brake lights
e.. Tires must have 3/32" tread, spare fully inflated
f.. Batteries must be mechanically secured - no bungee cords
g.. Seat belts for all occupants in good repair
h.. Tow strap
i.. Headlights and running lights
j.. Windshield wipers
k.. Steering components must not have excessive play
l.. NO fluid leaks allowed on the trails
m.. CB radio
n.. Front tow hook or secure attaching point
o.. Any open vehicle must be equipped with a roll bar
p.. Fire Extinguisher
q.. Tool Kit
r.. First Aid Kit
s.. Rear tow hook or secure attachment point (Trailer hitch balls are not considered secure attaching points)

The following are strongly recommended:
a.. Rain gear
b.. Extra air filter
c.. Winch
d.. Camera
e.. Flashlight
f.. Shovel
g.. Axe
