here's what your missing
Here is the event itinerary:
Friday January 20th
Free Range, meaning that the park is wide open for wheeling. There will be experienced guides available for those not familiar with the area.
Ivan “Ironman” Stewart and his wife Linda will be stopping by Old Camp to get acquainted with everyone. Campers, cook your best vittles!
Saturday January 21st
Mandatory Driver’s meeting with Ivan Stewart for all participants begins at 8AM at the Pavilion.
A group picture will be taken. This is for the benefit of not only the participants, but for the sponsors as well, so it’s important we get everyone together and get it done quickly.
Ivan will be being photographed for the sponsors, and therefore likely to be unavailable for individual requests. He will be available throughout the day, and there are a lot of participants, so please don’t make this a major concern.
Around 9:00AM the guided runs will begin for those who choose them.
The guided runs will be completed no later than noon and the groups will be at the pavilion for lunch. During this time, Ivan “Ironman” Stewart and his wife Linda will be available for photographs and autographs.
At 1:00PM we’ll start breaking out for the afternoon events:
The ladies will start on their afternoon Powder Puff Run.
Meanwhile, the Time Trial Trail will be first, and it will start near the Pavilion… that’s the only hint about the course location I will give out. J
Afterwards, the Blindfolded “Trust Your Spotter Run” will start at the crack in Clyde’s Ravine.
By 4:00 we will start the “Lone Star Challenges” for the moderate and extreme rigs. These will be on the south end of the Mountain.
Dinner and the Awards will begin at 6:00PM at the Pavilion. Please do not be late, as we will afford a last photo opportunity with Ivan and Linda, and we have a lot of prizes to give away!
Ivan will be presenting the awards as well as conducting the raffle. Every winner of the raffle will have their prize awarded by Ivan, so bring plenty of money and pack plenty of film!
Saturday night whatever you want it to be, so whether you want to relax around camp with old & new friends or hit the trails an exciting night run, feel free to enjoy your time on the mountain.
Sunday January 22nd
There are no organized events for Sunday, it is a Free Range day to explore the park.

Heading out Friday between 2:00-3:00 from Toyota of Dallas with Ivan 'Iron Man" Stewart and his wife Linda. Anyone who would like to caravan to Gilmer with is welcome. PM me if you are planning on going. We will be stopping at the Outlet Mall parrking lot to meet up with some others. Ivan will be driving a 2006 Tacoma double cab with ARB lift, ARB bumper/Warn Winch and Demello sliders. I will post up some pictures when we get back. This should be a great event and it is for a great cause. TMTC
