I know I haven't made a meet yet, but I'd like to make one very soon. My 4Runner has been in the shop for over two months and the guy can't figure it out. He hasn't put that much time in to it due to other projects and he's now going away for a month or more. It doesn't matter, I'm trading it and cash for an already built '85 this week sometime. So, tentatively, count me in.

a bit OT, but have you used coastal off-road or island off-road. ASide form the obvious huge, ridiculous beach combing Fullsize trucks, have you seen any of their work. It looks impressive

 

I'm game with a uwharrie trip. Don't know if i can make it yet. It will depend on how Angie is feeling. The baby is do June 20th, so everything around that time frame is kind of touch and go.

I am going to try to make this one. I dont think I am ready for tellico damage!

 

You can make Tellico fine, I did trails 4,5,6, and 8 without a problem back when I had 32's. You have the most needed thing-sliders-you would be fine at Tellico. Those are the trails most of us do.

Bah, no need for 33s, I did it all on 265s just fine, I would have killed for some 33s just to fit in but they're not needed. Sliders helped keep my heart still, but I only wacked them b/c I got daring knowing they were there. Tellico is a blast and anyone with the free time should be there despite their rigs set-up. As for Uwharrie, anyone with 4WD better be there.

 

4wd and descent tread... if its wet, bald tires won't get you ANYWHERE!

is it still june 10th? i THINK i could come. Uwharrie is 45 mins from my house. we just went there last weekend when it was raining, and it was tough. but fun!!

93ToyKid, are you the same guy that used to be OldMan93, or something along those lines. If so I think your name was John and you live pretty close by. If your not, you still live in HP and so do I, we need to get together and make a day trip down to Uwharrie, I could use to time behind the wheel and in the rocks before Tellico.

Put me down as going...I usually stay at Arrowhead campground..(usually 4-5 tents per site)..but things are pretty censored there (if you know what I mean)...especially lately(I was there with the Isuzu guys a couple weeks ago.) What about staying somewhere IN the park? Off one of the trails? If we need facilities for the ladies I have a porta-potty. Just a thought.

Anyhow add me to the list.
