I might see you there! I live only about an hour away (grass valley). A friend of mine might come in his purple 4runner. Are we welcome?

Also, I have some pretty regular BigO Big Foot A/T tires- a no go?

yes you sure are. here is the info:::

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry for the late notice, but we have finally decided on a location for this weekend's snow trip. We'll be heading up to the Eagle Lakes area near Donner Summit.

To get there, take highway 80 east about 45 miles past Auburn. Exit at Eagle Lakes road and turn left under the freeway. Follow Eagle Lakes road for about half a mile, and turn right to get to the staging area. The staging area is at N39* 19.896' W120* 34.363'. I am going by a map, not a GPS waypoint, so it may not be exact. We will be on CB channel 31 and FRS channel 7.

Please show up with a full tank of gas and the proper snow recovery gear. There is a Chevron station one exit east of Eagle Lakes road in Cisco Grove. Be at the trailhead between 10AM and 11AM. We will be hitting the trail at 11. Anyone who shows up late will have to follow the tracks in the snow and catch up.

Several of us will be camping, and a few are going to Sugar Bowl Sunday for some skiing/snowboarding. The only requirement for this run is 4WD.

My Cell is 916 792 5965 if you want to call and meet someplace... I will be up there around 9:30 - 10,,,
