Anyone interested in going out to Coyote Canyon or Truckhaven on the 8th?

I haven't been to either, but I really want to go. I'm not a super aggressive wheeler, so I wouldn't be against having some 2wd's out there too. Sounds like the terrain at both can be as easy or difficult as you want.

So who's in??

 

Actually, looking at my Yotatech calendar (gratuitous plug), I would be willing to consider the 15th (The following saturday) as well.

 

I cant do either one with you. I will be on a cruise the 4th-13th, and I have to work the 15th.

I dont think a 2wd can make it up the rocky portions of Coyote Canyon.

 

Is truckhaven ok for 2wd? I remember thinking that you guys had some 2wd's out with you on the last run.

I would like to explore that area since I haven't been there and I've heard a lot about it. I could possibly go with you on the 8th, but I'm the following day (Sunday) I'm free. I'll let you know.

 

Actually, The San Diego 4wheeler's club run to superstition on the 14-16th sounds pretty cool. I think I might jump on that trip and leave truckhaven to explore on a later date. Superstition sounds just as varied and it's already pretty well organized.

Okay, that weekend is cool with me but the 14th and 15th I won't be able to make it. I guess the 16th would be a better fit for me. I'll hit up that thread and see what's up.
