Denver 18th & 19th

Im going to go somewhere on both days, not yet sure, but i "need" to hit the hills, so if you have any ideas, or want to go somewhere, let me know.....

Saturday 17th:
Yankee Hill meet at the cemetary @ 2pm

Sunday 18th:
Slaughterhouse: meet at the gas station on your right before you turn off 285 onto Park County 43 @ 10am.

If we need to change the times let us know.

post up if you can make either day.

Its supposed to be cold and snowy...

I thought of Slaughterhouse at first, but with the weather like this, there might be quite a few spots that would be a bit tight.

You could try Bill Moore Lake. Or come up here and do carnage. Or go run twin cone in really deep snow this time.

I think Dan and I are tentatively thinking of running Carnage in the afternoon on Sat so we can board on Sun before he takes off later that day... but we'll see.

how much snow is up at moody hill crystal mountain. cause that will be cool to do on sunday. and slaughter house might be cool just to hit up the mud holes up there but there is like a foot of snow but that also might be fun. this will give me a chance to break in my new front locker

I'd like to stick closer to home if possible... How about Rampart Range http://www.4x4trails.net/db_view_trail.php?trailNum=129 ? I'm not sure if its closed during the winter or not.

crap! you folks enjoy yourselves...I'll be on a 6:15AM Sunday flight to North Carolina. I'll be angry and quite possibly hungover on that flight. Then I get a week's worth of lecture and team building exercises! WooHoo! When I'm so chock full of motivation and corporate spirit that it's leaking out of my ass, then they'll let me go home, so exhausted that I'm no longer capable of being angry about missing a 4wheeling trip.

Kyle,
You have stated in other threads that you don't like snow, i know you've been there, but there are a couple places that are gonna be pretty gnarly in the snow. either direction you run it, you are gonna be doing a pretty serious down slope in some good snow. I wouldn't do this, and snow doesn't really bother me.

Not trying to knock you down by anymeans, just saying it wouldn't be my first choice. Whatever though, might be fine, and everyone will have a good time, just my .02

Yes, I know I don't care for snow, ice is my big thing though. But if I'm gonna wheel, this trail is probably the trail with the least amount of snow. Plus I've done the trail before so I know what to expect.
