Hey on a good note. I installed my new springs and shocks over the weekend and finally got the front level. Went with OME 885's up front. They are OME version of the Tundra springs. 395mm tall and no spacer used. My old 882's were 500lb springs and the new ones are 590lb, much better for me with all the steel I have hanging of the front of the Runner.

Somthing calling your name at wheeler? I personally would like another go at the right line (no pun intended) at that 1st obstacle on wheeler. Just don't think I want to drive that far. Before Summer End, I'd like to hit up Radical hill and a few trails in that area again. Also Kingston Peak or even Bill Moore Lake. We would have to do sunday if we did go. Not sure right now. Just talkin...

Well, i'm always down...oh wait, thats right...i'm dumb and got tires that were too big for my truck...now i have to cut/poundout fenders and wait for RB to be back in business so i can get BL/new shackles...So probably not, unless i can do enough fender modification by then. I do REALLY want to do wheeler though, so maybe...we'll have to see.

I could probably do sunday but i haven't tested the 4x4 in the new runner yet so got to check that. They are the rear is noisy and leaking so i should fix it and the front of the truck is the same. But it is still a few days away.

I'll let you know one way or another tommorow evening...Gonna beat the poop outta the fenders and see if they'll fit, if so, then yeah, if no, then negatory...Ain't no way this peice is gonna be dickin me over like that...I'd like to hit wheeler if we go, or else lefthand up here...Rode the ol bike up away from carnage into the left hand roads, and man, there are some sweet obstacles up there...be a good place for action shots..

My main problem is not ripping off my entire inner fender, and mudflaps while trying to turn at flex.

Cutting/beating commences tonight...

Whatever is cool with me

Rising Sun Toyota Club is running Red Elephant Hill - by Bill Moore Lake:

As promised, Red Elephant Hill : Meet at the Burger King at 9am (depart for the trailhead at 9:30am) at Exit 234 on I-70 in Dumont/Downieville. CB Channel 4.

I can't go either. The boss says I have work to do around the house.

Well ric, I'm good to go, but i would like to do spring creek...Its not too far, just at idaho springs, and its got a couple worthy obstacles, and its got one gnarly one that i'm sure would test the limit of the rig, and probably gonna be too much for mine...it's sweet, and pretty...Up to you man..
