Yeah what Ric said! So yeah we should plan a trail run. Blake what weekend day would you want to do that on (if any)? It would probably have to be carnage though - since snow is blocking everything else. (Carnage is right near Boulder).

I got a lot of work to do in the morning, rebolt my tow hooks for the front. Get the rear cargo area setup for camping and stuff, get all my clothes together and get recovery/gas gear setup.

I dont know if I want to attach my loadwarrior basket or not. its a gas killer but it gives me more places to put crap.

Also with due to the ST Patties day gathering or places we could eat, yall let me know. im down for anything yall want to do. Im just so happy im about to pee my pants that im getting to drive out to Colorado

I should be able to head out on the weekend of the 25th and 26th (25th is better for me) What's the game plan CO guys and gals? I'm in a stocker with 265 street tires and the E-locker. I need to break in the new ride.

Lol didn't even see this thread. I'm planning on being downtown pretty much as early as I can be to see some music on Saturday. I guess if we wanted to meet around there somewhere that would work, or with enough notice I could sober up enough to meet you guys somewhere else.

Some of us are running Boulder Carnage on Saturday. This isn't a newbie-friendly trail though! Sliders and front/rear recovery points are REQUIRED and at least one locker is HIGHLY recommended. If you want to ride along, post up, there will be room for at least a few.

TC, I can say that I am not a newbie, but my current rig is. I know Carnage well, I took my old TJ through it with only 31's and a 2" BB in 2004 and then the TJ at it's current state through it last summer and did guardian rocks and the waterfall. I definatly agree that for a rig that is as long as a 4Runner, that sliders are needed and given the ice that a locker would help.

This is what I used to have (until 2 weeks ago)

I know the 4Runner could make it, but it would get it's fair share of rocker damage. I will wait to do that trail until after the sliders are on. The street tires would make it a long day too. They will be replaced soon. Hey Molly, found someone who could use that 33 I got from Mud monkey?

Plus... the wife has us doing other things this weekend. Next weekend I'm open as she is gone scrapbooking all weekend.

Well I am sure we will run something next weekend too. But just so you know if you are an experienced driver - you can get through carnage without rocker damage...

It can be done. I just don't want to chance it with the ice

I hope you all go out next Saturday.

TJ - the newb comment wasn't directed at you, just a general statement in case a true "newb" was reading it!

I have a feeling it's going to be VERY crowded up there tomorrow - there will be better times to go. It's only like 1/2 hr away from my house, so we can go any time, even after work!

I bet it is going to be crowded just because it is the only "hard" trail that is really open in the area. Thank you for the clearification on the newb comment. I had read it wrong. My Bad.

actually its the ONLY trail open, hard or easy. It'll be crowded with temps in the 70's.

That's why we are starting at 10:00 - I never seem to have a problem if I start at 10:00 and TJ since we have clarified you are not a newb... you should join us! Or did I read you had other plans...???

So when is the actual get together, there seems to be a trail ride that some of you are going on, but i'm looking for the actual meeting place and time for the beers and stuff.
