clay(van7559) and i are planning on going up old stage road and doing a few trails this coming saturday, the 28th i believe. we wont be doing anything too extreme since we have only lightly modded rigs. let me know if you are interested and we'll make some plans. it should be a good time

 

Hey, we might be heading down your way, this weekend, to meet up with a fellow YotaTech'er. We are thinking of running Medano Pass if the water levels arn't to high.

i cant thats a good 4 hours away from home and i could only do a one day trip and 8 hours on the highway wouldnt leave much time for the wheeling. i would like to though, that is a cool pass

hey i wont be able to make this one, we are getting things ready for the move.

 

Medano Pass was open, now it's closed. Not knowing if it will be open this weekend, we are not going to chance it. We are heading to BV Sat. and do some exploring, maybe run Chinaman's . Any way we are planning a meet-up at the Gunsmoke in Johnson Village. I will post details (time, trails, ect.) as we work them out.

Hey Brian, thanks for getting the post out there. You know Doug and I are going even though Doug has gone to the "dark side"(he bought a jeep) but I has have a 4-runner....men....and there love of toys. Anyway Buena Vista I think is a better idea since I do not want to take a chance and drive all the way to Medano and have it closed. There are alot of trails to run in BV. What time should be meet. I think no later than 10am in Johnson village.

Medano opened early Saturday morning. It was nice because there wasn't a ton of traffic on the pass. I think quite a few people called and heard it was closed and made other plans. It was nice being able to drive without having to pull-off every thirty feet
