I am planing on going up to slaughterhouse sunday 9/28 just wanting to know if anybody is up for it?

 

i'd definitely be up for going. i've been wanting to get out on some of these trails and that oughta be a good weekend. if i can get some directions (from boulder) i'll try to make it.

 

where is it located? Sorry i'm new.

 

Slaughterhouse is about 24 miles west on 285 from the 285/C470 intersection.

P.S. looks like there could be some people from Colorado4x4.net come as well.

 

Anybody still going? besides me.

 

What is the difficulty of that trail? I just have a stock 4Runner but i would love to go.

I'd like to go but I've already got plans to go camping up near Vail that weekend.

 

According to TrailDamage.com it has a low Rating of 3 and a High Rating of 5. I am also running a stock 924Runner.

 

Where can i get more details? Where is everyone meeting up? What time? Etc.

Sounds like it might be a good time. Me and a buddy went on some trails in Idaho springs this weekend.

Kwando I am planing on meeting up at the Safeway in Conifer at about 11am.

 

id love to go but my skidplates are still at the powder coating place so i wont be able too, but as far as dificulty goes i ran it in july and thought it was pretty easy a little off camber stuff and a really cool hill to climb called stump hill! it gets slightly difficult at the top but nothing really too difficult. i would say that when i went, there was a stock taco with some sideboards that didnt survive too well but other than that it did fine!

It's not too difficult. Mostly hills and moguls - no real rocks that I can remember.
