Colorado Fall Color Run

Doug and I are gonna do a color run this weekend somewhere around teh Medano Pass or Buena Vista area. I was coming home on a flight yesterday and the aspens were in full color, bright orange and yellow. It would be great if we could get some people to tag along.
Marc we are not going to make the Glenwood Springs run.
We are having some work done on the runner and need to get the body lift done that weekend before it goes in the shop.

South, down by the Great Sand Dunes NP. Overnighter for us, but what the hey.
Sand Dunes are on the 'wet' side of the Sangre de Cristo's, colors should be awsome !!

Thanx for posting up, Darc.

Medano Pass

Ric- you can do Medano as a day trip, a l-o-n-g day trip but it can be done. It's about 2-2 1/2 hours from the Springs and for a leisurely trip about 3 hours or so and then the drive back. It is be-a-utiful with the fall colors . We did it last year almost this exact time and it was awesome? Try to make it if you can. Jake04 awesome that you will be going. Will work out a time tomorrow or this evening.
